Prevent Patient from being Bitten by Mosquito
If you have a person in the house who is already suffering from dengue, make sure that they are not bitten by a mosquito further. Also, be sure that everybody else in the house is protected against mosquito bites. Image courtesy: Getty Images
Use Mosquito Repellents
Mosquito repellants must be applied regularly. No matter what time of the day it is, if you stay in an area where mosquitoes breed easily, make sure you have repellants on during the day as well as at night. Image courtesy: Getty Images
Block all Entry Points
You must make sure that all the house's entry or exit points do not have a hole in it. If you find one, block all those holes properly to prohibit the entry of mosquitoes in the house. Image courtesy: Getty Images
Use Mosquito Net
If you live in a poorly sanitized area, you must sleep under a mosquito net every night. If you have kids in the house, make them sleep under a net during night without fail. Image courtesy: Getty Images
Keep Dustbin Clean
Whenever you see trash getting collected in the dustbin, empty it immediately. Dirty areas can also be a breeding ground for mosquitoes. Also, keep the trash covered while it’s filling to prevent the mosquitoes from entering the area. Image courtesy: Getty Images
Keep Tulsi in the House
A natural way to prevent the mosquitoes from entering the house can be placing a tulsi plant near your window. The properties of this plant will prevent the mosquitoes from breeding. Image courtesy: Getty Images
